When there is a game, the room at Beachside Tavern looks up. Big screens keep everyone in the action, and the sound stays on, so you are not guessing what the announcers said. Settle in with a cold drink and some bar food and stay for the whole thing.

Who comes

This is a hyper-local Bass Lake, Knox and Starke County hangout, so expect to share the room with the regulars. Visitors are welcome to pull up a seat too.

What to order

Game day food is shareable by design. Grab a few bar bites for the table, a grilled burger, or a plate of locally sourced seafood. The menu has the full picture, and the bar is stocked for whatever you are drinking.

Relaxed and social

There is no rush here. Pull up a chair, order another round, stay awhile. If it is a nice day, the lakeside patio is right there for a break between quarters, and the lake view comes free.
