The patio at Beachside Tavern looks out over Bass Lake. It is outdoor seating at its simplest: a spot to sit, eat and drink with the water in front of you. On a summer evening it is the best seat in the house, and it is easy to see why.

How seating works

The patio is first-come, first-served. We do not take formal reservations, so there is no list to get on and no need to plan ahead. Walk up, find an open table and settle in. If the weather is good and the lake is calm, expect other people to have the same idea.

Sunrise patio

Mornings are worth the early alarm. We serve breakfast from 7:00am to 11:30am, seven days a week, and the sunrise patio is where early risers land. See the breakfast page for what is on the morning menu.

What to order out here

Everything on the menu works on the patio: locally sourced seafood, grilled burgers, salads and shareable bar bites, plus cold drinks from the bar. Sharable bites are a good pick when you want to sit for a while and keep the table full.

Coming with a bigger group
